About

Charles Marsh, smiling, in a white shirt and blue tie in front of a tree.

I teach Algebra and Geometry at San Luis Obispo Classical Academy High School.

I studied computer engineering at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I've built everything from a RISC-V processor on an FPGA to iPhone apps. At Cal Poly I got really interested in the security classes, especially low-level security: binary exploitation and hardware security. If you're considering computer engineering as a major, please reach out! I'd love to chat.

Right now I'm busy teaching high school math and working as a software engineer at Xponential Systems. In my free time I'm building small, lightweight iOS apps with no subscriptions, no ads and no tracking. Free, or one price, once. Now and then I freelance for small businesses, doing software and web development work, and I tutor.

Have a look at what I'm building, or my years at Cal Poly. Or just say hello.

Outside of work

In my free time I like to run, lift and hike, and build out ideas for apps and fun projects on the side. Right now I'm training for the San Diego 50-mile race.
