Request & Ticketing App for a Research Server
A Flask web app where Cal Poly grad students and professors submit requests for the research server, and staff track them as tickets. Sponsored by Northrop Grumman.
Cal Poly’s graduate students and security researchers share a research server. Requests for access, software and resources came in by email and were easy to lose track of, so I built a web app to collect and track them.
What it does
- Requests. Students and professors submit structured requests instead of free-form emails.
- Tickets. Every request becomes a ticket that can be tracked from submission to done.
- An admin view. Staff see and manage every entry in one place.
I designed and built the front end and the admin interface, on top of a Flask and MySQL back end.

The app is being passed on to future master’s and network security students.
